Surely, a player of the Chilean’s quality will be desperate to play at the top level and next year, he won’t be able to do that with Arsenal. Even though the Gunners did just secure the FA Cup with an impressive win against Chelsea, it may not be enough to keep Sanchez in north London. Another name that’s been linked with a move away from Monaco, along with teammate Mbappe is Benjamin Mendy.

Reports have suggested that the left-back is on his way to England, to join United’s rivals Manchester City. In fact, one transfer news Twitter account was so convinced by reports from French news website SFR Sport, that they tweeted this:Translated to English, it reads: ”Benjamin Mendy flew to Manchester. He should sign to City before the end of next week.”However, there’s one man that these reports haven’t managed to convince. That’s Mendy himself.After seeing this on Twitter, he responded in brilliant fashion. fotbollströjor Manchester City-chef Pep Guardiola har anklagats för att vara ’respektlös’ av Tottenhams motsvarighet Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs-chefen har kritiserat Guardiola efter att Blues-chefen kallade Londonborna som ”Harry Kane-laget”.

Guardiola – som nyligen talade om Premier League-titelloppet – hänvisade till rivalerna Chelsea och Manchester United men kallade inte Pochettino sida vid namn, utan hänvisade istället till sin stjärnanfallare.

Tottenham-chefen blev tydligt irriterad av innebörden att Spurs är ett enmanslag.

”Jag känner Pep,” sa argentinern, “När han är upphetsad efter en fantastisk seger kämpar han för att behålla sin position och vara en gentleman.

Djurgården ger besked om Ola Toivonen

Toulouses anfallare Ola Toivonen har placerats i Djurgårdens IF. Men sportchefen tror inte på en värvning inför säsongen.

Det har ryktats om att landslagsanfallaren Ola Toivonen kan lämna franska Toulouse i vinter.

31-åringen har kopplats ihop med allsvenska Djurgårdens IF. Men sportchefen Bosse Andersson tror inte på en värvning inför säsongen.

– Jag tror inte att vi kommer se Ola Toivonen 2018 på våren. Det har jag svårt att se, säger han i podcasten Studio Allsvenskan.

Sam Johnson är nära en övergång till Vålerengen. Anfallaren var aldrig aktuell för en återkomst i Djurgården.

– Det skar sig inte med Johnson, det är inte min uppfattning. Svår fråga. Man kan säga så här, att Johnson gick till Kina då vi fick väldigt bra betalt. Sedan har det varit lite problem i Kina. Det har varit komplext att komma loss. Men vi har inte varit i kontakt med Sam för en övergång. Vi har anfallare just nu, säger Bosse Andersson i podcasten Studio Allsvenskan.
